Hello and thanks for stopping by!  I am Corinna, the owner of Confections by Corinna.

I started baking as a young girl growing up on a farm in Minnesota.  I loved the creativity of trying new recipes and using my own special touch.

In 2008, with a family of my own, we moved to North Carolina. There, I shared my passion of baking with friends and neighbors. Through them, I began getting requests for several kinds of desserts for special occasions. This is where the inspiration of my business “Corinna's Confections” was born. It was during this time, that with every order or suggestion, I grew to learn the skills that would help me build my future business!

 

In 2017 my daughters and I moved to Fort Dodge, Iowa to be closer to family.  At this time I began experimenting with sugar cookie recipes. I knew I had found the perfect recipe when my daughters insisted, “never use any other recipe but THIS one, mom.”

 

Currently, I work full time as a receptionist by day.  The rest of my time is spent on my business, attending church and spending time with family and friends.

 

It was with the inspiration and advice that I received through the years that Confections by Corinna came to be.  My family and I are blessed to have crossed paths with our North Carolina friends as well as our current circle of friends, family and neighbors.  Thank you to everyone involved in this exciting journey!
